STARLETS

Directed by Lauretta Shoop and Jen Gonsalves

“Starlets” is a dance team based out of our Hanford Studio. They will learn routines that will be showcased in local community events throughout the Kings and Tulare counties. Starlet dancers range in ages from 5-12 years old. These dancers will be introduced to professional choreographers and teachers. This team is great for the dancer who loves to perform throughout the year!

Dancers are selected through an audition process and placed into groups based on age & ability.

"Starlets" will:

o Take required classes: 1 ballet class,1 jazz class,1 JTS class, & Rehearsal time slot

o Perform locally throughout the area

o Attend summer classes at Dancers Edge

o Attend master classes with special guest teachers

o Present at all performances

o Perform in 3 or more local events

Annual Estimated Cost for “Starlets” includes:

o Costume estimate=$130 per costume

o Choreography fee= $50 per dance and per dancer

o Rhinestone estimate=$50 per costume

o Average estimate of $230 per routine
