Dara Alexander

Teacher

Dara started her performing arts journey at a very young age but discovered her love for dance at age 7. She found her home at the award-winning studio Dancers Edge five years later and was on the Dancers Edge competitive team until graduation. Dara has trained in multiple styles of dance, including jazz, lyrical, ballet and hip hop. She joined an adult dance company after graduation to continue with training and performances out in the community. As she grew older, Dara assisted in teaching, which lead to teaching classes of her own. She has taught some of the toddler classes for First 5 of Kings County. Dara loves working with young kids, and she is excited to be a part of the Hanford Tots program and watch their love for dance grow.
