ABOUT DANCERS EDGE
Marie Barlow and Tyler Caspary opened Dancers Edge in 1996 to provide the community of Visalia with a fun and safe dance environment for students of all ages. In 2004, Dancers Edge opened in Hanford to extend the quality instruction and fine technical artistry to students in Kings County. We are now entering our 28th season and have 3 locations to serve you, Visalia Pershing, Visalia Downtown and Hanford.
Together with over 25 years of dance experience, Marie and Tyler have enabled many young dancers to achieve their individual goals within the varying forms of dance. Students have the opportunity to perform as well as compete throughout the community, which instills a strong passion for dance as a form of art and entertainment in today's society.
Dancers at the studio are able to excel in the areas of Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical, and Tot-A-Lot through weekly classes geared towards correct technical placement and expression.
In 2017, Dancers Edge expanded our program by opening our Theatre Arts Department. Now under the direction of Allison Marquez-Djordjevic students have the opportunity to perform in many creative avenues including our Annual Musical Production, Summer Mini Musical, and our Edge Music Showcase. Our T3 (Triple Threats) performing arts team performs at multiple community events and ends the season with a performance at the Disneyland Resort.
All classes have age-appropriate material with qualified instructors who take the time to bring out the best in each child.
Dancers Edge is home to the nationally recognized
Our competition team competes throughout California and the West Coast and has won numerous National Titles and Choreography awards. The DE Dance Company consists of dancers ages 4-18 who excel in many different styles of dance. Many of our Company dancers have continued their dance careers into college and the professional dance world. We have been very blessed to have previous dancers come back and join our DE Family as Instructors and Choreographers.
