Brittany Aden
Teacher
Miss Brittany is in her first-year teaching at Dancer’s Edge, but she is not new to studio teaching. This year she will be teaching jazz, ballet, and stretch classes for the T3 group, but also has lots of experience teaching musical theatre, tap, ballet, lyrical, and tiny tots. Miss Brittany has been part of the Visalia performing arts community since she was 4 years old and continues to use those experiences to share her love of music, dance and theatre with kids of all ages.
Miss Brittany has a B.A. in Communications from Whitworth University and completed music and theatre minors. She continued to dance throughout college with the dance
ministry club taking ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, highland, and teaching musical theatre. She also participated in Whitworth’s American College Dance Association team for 3 years where she was able to take classes from numerous amazing dance professionals from all over the states.
For the past nine years, Miss Brittany has been teaching dance at a local studio,
including competition groups, solos, and recital classes; specializing in musical theatre. Her dancers have received several judges’ choice awards, and her choreography earned top 10 scores and entertainment awards.
Over the years Miss Brittany has been involved in many performances and groups. Most recently, she sings with the worship team at Gateway Church and is a soprano with the Visalia Community Chorus and Voces Lumine. Some of her favorite past performance include Peter in Peter Pan, Amber and Velma in Hairspray, Mrs. Wormwood in Matilda, Grace in Annie and performing The Nutcracker (with Theatre Arts Alliance).
Miss Brittany is so excited to be joining the DE family and to be able to continue to share her love of dance and music with local kids. And, a little fun fact, Miss Brittany and her husband, Kadir, are getting ready to welcome their first baby, Logan, this fall of 2025.
