“EDGE KIDS”

“Edge Kids” is a performing and competing company for dancers ages 5 and up.  This company is perfect for the focused dancer who wants to excel in dance but also offers the flexibility for the dancer to participate in other activities.  “Edge Kids” is known for its fun, energetic routines full of style and flair.
Dancers are selected through an audition process and placed into groups based on age & ability.
“Edge Kids” dancers will:

  1. Take 1 jazz, 1 JTS, 1 ballet & rehearsals. Company 3 or higher must take 2 ballet classes. Hip hop, lyrical, tap and acro are optional. Dancers on tap groups must also take a tap class.
  2. Attend classes 2-3 days a week
  3. Attend master classes with special guest teachers and choreographers
  4. Compete in a minimum of 3 local talent competitions
  5. Perform locally around Kings and Tulare Counties
  6. Attend Summer classes at Dancers Edge
  7. Take the “Cutting Edge” workshop
  8. Present at all performances
  9. All dancers must display a positive attitude and strive for personal success in all classes and events throughout the entire year

Annual Estimated Cost for “Edge Kids” includes:
Price based on group routines only.  Solos and duet/trios will be extra

  1. Costume estimate=$250 per costume
  2. Choreography fee estimate=$50-$100 per dance & per dancer (Varies per choreographer)
  3. Competition Fee estimate=$40 per group and per competition
  4. Rhinestone estimate=$75 per costume
  5. $10 travel fee per dancer per competition
  6. Average estimate of $515 per routine (estimate based on 3 competitions)
