Teacher

Klyde Saechao brings his energy to Dancers Edge as our new hip-hop teacher. He began his dancing journey during his freshman year at Mt. Whitney High School, where he fostered a deep appreciation for dance. Klyde is currently continuing his education at College of the Sequoias, double majoring in business and dance, and has performed in every dance production offered at COS.

 

For the past eight years, Klyde has taught at Red Dragon Karate, guiding students of all ages in self-defense, confidence, respect, and communication, while also earning certification as a stunt double instructor. In addition to martial arts instruction, his background includes competing and performing at dance competitions across California in styles such as jazz and contemporary, as well as serving as a professional instructor for local programs like Dancing Under the Stars.

 

Klyde is dedicated to helping his students discover their best selves and find joy in movement. He adapts to how each student learns best, striving to ensure they leave every class feeling far more confident than when they arrived.

 

Klyde is excited to join the Dancers Edge team this season and looks forward to helping his hip-hop students achieve their goals through hard work, creativity, and dedication!
