Directed by Marie Barlow, Tyler Grant, Rebekah Meinert & Brandy Stiles
“Edge” is DE Dance Company’s highest level performing group. These distinguished dancers have outstanding technique, unique performance quality, a polished style and always a positive attitude. In house choreographers include: Marie Barlow, Tyler Grant, Rebekah Meinert, Brandy Stiles and Jen Gonsalves. Past choreographers have included: Keri La Grand, Gregg Russell, Adam Parson, Keith Clifton, Christina Woodard, Jason Myhre, Kelly Perkins and Rebecca Anne Hart.
Dancers are selected through an audition process and placed into groups based on age & ability.
“EDGE” dancers will:

Take 1 jazz, 1 JTS, 2 ballet classes & rehearsals. Dancers on tap groups must also take a tap class.

Attend classes 2-4 days a week

Attend master classes with special guest teachers and choreographers

Compete in a minimum of 5 talent competitions throughout California

Perform locally around Kings and Tulare Counties

Take the “Cutting Edge” workshop and Summer Dance classes at Dancers Edge

Present at all performances

All dancers must display a positive attitude and strive for personal success in all classes and events throughout the entire year
Annual Estimated Cost for “EDGE” includes:
Price based on group routines only. Solos and duet/trios will be extra

Costume estimate=$250 per costume

Choreography fee estimate=$60-$150 per dance & per dancer (Varies per choreographer)

Competition Fee estimate=$40 per group and per competition

Rhinestone estimate=$75 per costume
-
$10 travel fee per dancer per competition

Average estimate of $775 per routine (estimate based on 7 competitions)
