Important Recital News

Due to the growth of the studio we have decided to divide the recital inot two shows.  Please check the board to locate the show your child will be in.  If you child is in more than one dance they may be performing in both shows.  Also, note that the recital line up is subject to change.  If you have any questions please feel free to inform the office staff.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Recital Ticket Information

2008

Recital Fee Includes:

4 recital show tickets

2 dress rehearsal tickets

Recital fee Tickets will be available for pick-up the week of May

• Tickets can be used for one show or combination
• Lost or stolen tickets are non replaceable/non refundable
• Tickets will not be passed out to any dancers
• There is no reserved seating
• The person who paid for recital fee should be the person picking up the tickets.

Extra tickets are on a first come, first serve basis.

Doors open 45 minutes prior to show time.  No one will be allowed into the auditorium until this time.  We ask that you do not save numerous seats for family members.  Our recitals do sell out, so please tell family members to arrive early!  If you have a family member who needs wheel chair access please speak with the front office to make arrangements.

• Each class will have their own special time on stage to learn where they stand, how they enter and exit stage.
• After each class, the parents and dancers will be shown their designated dressing room
• Dancers sit with their parents in the audience for tech rehearsal
• Dancers are finished once their routine is done

Dress Rehearsal

Dancers must attend dress rehearsal in order to perform in the recitals.

Dress Rehearsal  & Recital Arrival Guidelines

• Please arrive at the specified time
• Arrive in full costumes, hair and make-up
• Dancers must enter through the back of the auditorium

During the Dress Rehearsal & Recital Guidelines

• Parents are responsible for changing their child’s costume if they are in more than one routine.
• Backstage helpers and room helpers are not responsible for changing dancer’s costume or hair
• Parents may videotape the dress rehearsal only!!!
• Performers are not allowed to sit in the audience.

End of the Dress Rehearsal & Recital

• There will be a finale at the end of the show featuring the entire cast
